Las Vegas, USA – Becon, a digital healthcare company spun off from Samsung's C-Lab, participated in the Eureka Park K-STARTUP pavilion at CES 2023, held in Las Vegas from January 5th to 8th.
Becon offers a personalized hair care solution using an IoT diagnostic device that analyzes scalp and hair loss conditions. Equipped with various sensors, including a camera, and powered by deep learning analysis, the mobile app provides a real-time analysis of ten different scalp conditions and suggests personalized care.
At CES 2023, Becon showcased its scalp scanner, AI app, and customized hair care products. The IoT scalp scanner can analyze ten scalp conditions, such as sensitivity, dandruff, and follicle density, in just five seconds using deep learning technology. It then recommends suitable solutions, including shampoos and essences, based on the analysis results.
"After completing the development of our service in August 2022, we decided to participate in CES to enter the global market," said a Becon official. "With over 20% of the global population suffering from hair loss, but a lack of convenient and effective home care solutions, we have developed a system that provides systematic management. We aim to target the 24 trillion market."
